My name is Savannah; better known as Savi. I grew up in a very rural area with no knowledge of the tattoo world. One day my dad took me to Wave‘s tattoo shop when I was 13 years old. My dad needed a touchup from his time that he served in the military, and I was curious and decided to go along. At the time I was just starting my art journey, and I was inspired and enamored by all of the art around me. That day, Wave let me take home a few tattoo magazines and an offer that if I continue to have a passion about art, I could be his apprentice one day. 

When I was 17, I had the pressures of going to college and figuring things out, but I was still unsure and scared as most teenagers are. But then I remembered Wave‘s offer and I decided to take a plunge. I started my tattoo apprenticeship when I was 17 years old and I was still in highschool. I was so nervous starting out and I wanted to be the best version of myself that I could be. I graduated high school and finish my apprenticeship and I never looked back. I am still at Wave’s shop today and I truly feel I have a found family here. 

I’ve done many tattoos, all shapes and sizes, but I think my favorite type of tattoos are ones that are nature inspired, and are delicate. In my opinion, nature inspired, tattoos, are universal, timeless, and look amazing on everyone. I also love doing what I call tattoo “makeovers” which are coverups and touch ups. I adore people’s faces brightening up from getting a tattoo that needed some desperate tlc. 

I absolutely love working in this industry and specifically and my home shop! I plan to stay here for many more years and I can’t wait to continue doing what I love doing!
